Following the repertory entries of The Art of Not Looking Back in 2018 and Uprising and In your Rooms in 2022, Hofesh Shechter this season deepens the bond he has forged with the dancers of the Paris Opera Ballet. The choreographer has created a one-evening work, his first for a company other than his own.

In a twisted world of glamour and glitz, 13 dancers moving feverishly, accompanies by a tuxedoed band of live musicians. Red curtains and a sparkly centrepiece grace the space, evoking the velvet of Palais Garnier and echoing the ghosts of Cabaret and champagne.

Hofesh Shechter's earthy, dynamic language of movement unfolds powerfully in a world of offbeat café-théâtre.
